Shawnta’ C. Turner-Richard was born in 1978 in Denver Colorado. She moved to Minnesota in 1986 and a start was born in a silent way. She has always been creative and goal oriented. A boss to many and a friend to more. She has done everything from hair, owning and collaborating with local promoters in entertainment. After that was all said and done she decided to pursue her writing career. Writing was a way for her to express her feelings when she couldn’t find the words to come out right. Situations is her first published novel and soon to follow was In Who Should I Trust.
Shawnta later moved to Atlanta to expand her fan base and her community service work that she started while living in Minnesota. Working with such organizations at NAACP and UNCF and a local venture Atlanta Greek Picnic. However life happens and she had to come back to MN in order to further her career. Once back in Minnesota she fell back into servicing the Twin Cities as a one of the Directors for the Twin Cities Black employee network. Never falling short on striving for the best, she is known for many things and her business sense and reputation presides her.
